Multi-functional Pulse-Heating soldering System

Pulse system FRC-150 is a low-voltage AC source with digital control that manages and controls one of three handpieces: Pulse soldering iron, Single and Dual circuit Tweezers and Pulse wire Stripper. The tool is relatively cold before and after work. Power time or the pulse duration and the rate of heating is defined by the operator, and controlled automatically with digital system. FRC-150 Pulse Heat power output ramps up the temperature to reflow level reducing thermal shock risk and undesired heating of adjacent solder joints and components.

Ability to control a heating rate is the main difference between pulse soldering systems and traditional soldering stations. This property specifies areas of application where the Pulse tools operates with the biggest success.

Made of ceramic substrate components are very sensitive to rapid temperature change. Touching a component with a hot soldering iron without preheating can be fatal to them.	For best results, we recommend the use of solder paste.
Our Tweezers Assembly takes a component with cold tool and pre-set it to a tinned or Solder paste applied pads on the board. Then operator presses the pedal, and the tool is gradually heated to the desire temperature together with the component. Wherein the power determines the rate of heating and is pre-set by the operator. Component can be removed by the same way without any damage.	Replaceable wide tips increase the instrument capabilities.

The IS-15 wire Stripper allows rapid, temperature controlled, damage-free removal of all wire insulation including PTFE and silk. A variety of tips are available that are specifically designed for various wire gauges.	Strong heating of the nozzle is possible, but not required for the solution.

An operation of wiring a cable in a connector also requires specialized tools. Carried out by usual soldering iron this operation can damage a wire insulation. Much faster and more reliable the use of single-circuit tweezers is. During the soldering a current passes directly through the output connector heating it. Single-loop tweezers can be converted into Pulse Soldering Iron by replacing tips. Such Soldering Iron can be used in cases where the soldering heat is transferred at given rate. It works well processing ferrite parts, where heating minimization is required. It is also important for restoration of printed conductors where conductive foil cannot be overheated. Handpiece has interchangeable tips of various shapes and sizes and can be used not only for soldering but also for protective coatings thermal removal.

Advanced functionality of the FRC-150

Pulse system FRC-150 provides automatic selection of the output range depending on the connected instrument. Every time you change the instrument press the corresponding button refer to used tool, and the system automatically sets the minimum and highest power rate for selected tool. This eliminates overheating and potential damage to a tool tip guarantee an exceptional durability.

Depending on your needs FRC-150 system can operate in one of three modes: "continuous" modes when heating is supplied with till pedal is pressed, "timer" mode - work with fixed parameters, and  "program" mode - for heating desired program. Operator sets a power that determines a heating rate for an instrument and a pulse duration - the time during which power is supplied to the instrument for each operation. These parameters are chosen manually one time and then stored in the memory.

The system provides "Learn" mode for convenience of parameters selection. The first time soldering or wire stripping performed manually with the necessary power. After the end of the soldering operator releases the pedal and the soldering time will automatically store.
